Caiden (5:56:45 PM): He'd already gotten the key and sat there on the stairs, nothing at all around him or to bring in.
Phoenix (6:02:57 PM): Phoenix was still at work, in the process of getting a few mates to bring his stuff to his new house. He was bored out of his head.
Caiden (6:04:17 PM): Reese had sent him enough to get him a down payment on a rental... or, at least, a room in one. He'd seen a girl about a job at the salon... doing nails and feet. He had no experience, but he was good at things like that. Girly things. Standing up from the spot, he smoked his first cigarette in almost a year.
Phoenix (6:09:51 PM): When they called him, he talked for a few moments before making his way out to his car after his shift ended and driving to the house.
Caiden (6:19:31 PM): The house was normal... and it definitely wasn't like the last actual home he'd had. There wouldn't be 20 people in it all the time... visiting... smoking a joint and spilling shit everywhere... No, this time he was alone, for the most part.
Phoenix (6:27:33 PM): The truck was just pulling up outside when Phoenix arrived and he hopped out, sliding over the hood and making his way up to his friends.
Caiden (6:28:18 PM): A cab finally pulled up out front that he'd been waiting for. He had some shopping to get done.
Phoenix (6:31:30 PM): Phoenix made his way up the walk, noticing another bloke coming down towards him. "Hey, ye living here too?"
Caiden (6:32:29 PM): He knew the minute he opened hsi mouth, he'd be judged as always. So he nodded and offered a small smile.
Phoenix (6:35:21 PM): "Welcome then." Phoenix grinned, gesturing to his mates to start bringing in his shit.
Caiden (6:36:30 PM): He wondered why he was being welcomed like the other guy owned the place all alone. Sighing, he went to the cab and got in.
Phoenix (6:42:06 PM): As things got put in and put in place, he lit up a clove cigarette and stood against the wall.
Caiden (6:42:46 PM): He got back two hours later with only some newly bought bedding and some groceries.
Phoenix (6:45:08 PM): Phoenix was sitting on the couch there with a couple friends that had stayed, beer in hand.
Caiden (6:46:27 PM): He almost dragged things in, leaving the grocery bags at the door before disappearing down the hallway.
Phoenix (6:48:44 PM): Phoenix looked up when the guy came in, but he didn't say anything. Something told him the guy was a recluse.
Caiden (6:49:49 PM): His room had nothing in it but newly laid carpet and a ceiling fan. Undoing the bedding, he sat there and put cases on pillows. He'd ordered a mattress and a cheap bed frame for delivery.
Phoenix (6:50:19 PM): His mates left after a bit and he curled up on the couch, a sketchpad opened on his lap.
Caiden (6:51:01 PM): Coming back out, he picked up the few bags of groceries... just a few essentials... and went to put them away in the open kitchen.
Phoenix (6:52:34 PM): Phoenix immersed himself in a new tattoo someone had asked for at the shop, blowing hair out of his face.
Caiden (6:55:22 PM): It felt completely alien to know he was staying somewhere warm for the night and it wasn't because the guy who'd just fucked him let him stay in the room for the night.
Phoenix (7:00:29 PM): "Shite." He let out a grumble when he messed up, erasing and starting again.
Caiden (7:01:36 PM): Flicking the light off in the kitchen, he stepped back through the living room with a sandwich in hand.
Phoenix (7:04:34 PM): Phoenix smelled the food and looked up briefly. "So, you gonna be a hermit?"
Caiden (7:07:52 PM): Mid-bite. "Are you always going to 'ave your friends here?" but he said it softly, not accusingly.
Phoenix (7:09:48 PM): "Nah. I like my privacy. They're too loud sometimes." He shrugged.
Caiden (7:14:14 PM): He didn't plan on answering the hermit question, taking another bite of his food.
Phoenix (7:40:56 PM): "Well then, that answers my question." He went back to his drawing.
Caiden (7:46:34 PM): "So what are you drawing?" almost cutting him off.
Phoenix (7:48:57 PM): Phoenix smirked a bit. "A tattoo for a friend."
Caiden (7:55:12 PM): "You ink or do you just draw them up?"
Phoenix (7:58:42 PM): "I do both, actually. I work at a local tattoo and piercing place."
Caiden (8:06:15 PM): Caiden nodded just a little and looked at the paper.
Phoenix (8:11:27 PM): Phoenix glanced up and smiled a bit. "What d'ya think?" It was a tattoo of a dragon rising from a lake. "It's going on their back."
Caiden (8:11:43 PM): "I like it... whole back?"
Phoenix (8:22:35 PM): Phoenix nodded. "Yeah, the girl's a loon. She's gonna be in there for about three hours each session."
Caiden (8:25:29 PM): "Shes lucky it only stings for the first half hour..." smiling a little.
Phoenix (8:27:22 PM): "That's what I told her. And she said it didn't matter anyway since she liked pain. Didn't know what to say to that."Phoenix chuckled.
Caiden (8:28:10 PM): "Ah..." Caiden DIDN'T like pain. He didn't imagine how people did.
Phoenix (8:34:41 PM): "That's about what I said."
Caiden (8:36:19 PM): "I'd get the tattoo... but don't know if I'd love the pain, exactly."
Phoenix (8:45:51 PM): Phoenix looked up at him with a little smile. "It'd probably look good on ye."
Caiden (8:46:43 PM): "Not my thing..." Dragon's weren't... unicorns, maybe. And he wanted to laugh, but held it back.
Phoenix (8:47:17 PM): "Well it's not for everyone." And with that, Phoenix went bac to drawing.
Caiden (8:49:53 PM): "I'd put something that conflicted with the water.... Dragon's spit fire, sure... but I'd 'ave something else.... a phoenix, maybe." [he doesnt know his name lol]
Phoenix (8:54:51 PM): At that, Phoenix let out a laugh.
Caiden (8:55:14 PM): "Unicorns don't like water..." smirking.
Phoenix (8:59:42 PM): Phoenix shook his head a bit. "That wasn't what I was laughing about."
Caiden (9:02:16 PM): Caiden just looked at him.
Phoenix (9:03:51 PM): "My name's Phoenix,"he chuckled.
Caiden (9:19:32 PM): "Good name."
Phoenix (9:22:46 PM): "Yeah, I'll have to tell my mum that."
Caiden (9:25:17 PM): He smiled just faintly. "I'm Caiden. Stofliars."
Phoenix (9:27:54 PM): "Well, nice to meet you,Caiden. Since we will be living with one another.'
Caiden (9:30:29 PM): "I noticed that..." offering a little smile.
Phoenix (9:31:33 PM): "Ah, but of course. I believe the boxes and shite must've tipped you off." Phoenix winked.
Caiden (9:32:43 PM): "they were a good hint."
Phoenix (9:36:46 PM): Laughing, Phoenix nodded. "Well, I'll be sure not to invade your territory or anything like that."

Caiden (1:42:59 AM): "Don't 'ave much territory to tread on. So... er... don't touch my bedsheets on the ground?" joking, sort of.
Phoenix (1:47:30 AM): Phoenix quirked a brow, then chuckled a bit. "Got it. Bedsheets are off limits."
Caiden (1:50:12 AM): "Then we're well enough."
Phoenix (1:51:59 AM): A nod and Phoenix still had a bit of a smile on his face.

Caiden (2:29:44 PM): Finishing the sandwich, Caiden still felt hungry. Disappearing again in his run down clothes, he grabbed something to drink and some beef jerky.
Phoenix (2:30:47 PM): Phoenix let out a yawn and stretched over the arm of the couch, the sketchpad almost falling off his lap.
Caiden (2:48:03 PM): Passing by again, he went to his room in silence.
Phoenix (2:49:08 PM): Getting up, Phoenix went to grab a beer
Caiden (2:49:32 PM): Chewing quietly, he opened his door and shutnit again.
Phoenix (2:54:35 PM): Flipping off the top, he went to his own room, turning on the music and bobbing his head to it as he found something to wear.
Caiden (2:58:50 PM): Sitting down against the wall, he pulle dover the bag of things from the local drugstore. Undoing the pen packet and opening the notebook, he began to scribble.
Phoenix (3:03:24 PM): Throwing things aside, he settled on The Used shirt, low-hung jeans that were ripped and black Chucks, coming back out and scratching his head.
Caiden (3:07:26 PM): Pulling his legs up, Caiden messed with his hair. He definentnly needed a haircut and a shave.
Phoenix (3:11:52 PM): He grabbed his messenger bag and then as a small thought, came over to Caiden's door, knocking.
Caiden (3:13:42 PM): "Come in..." quietly, flattening his hair on his forehead.
Phoenix (3:16:47 PM): Phoenix opened the door a bit, leaning there in the doorway. "So, you attached to the room, or would you like to get out for a bit?"
Caiden (3:24:16 PM): Looking up at him, he tapped his pen a little on the page. "Don't really 'ave something to wear out."
Phoenix (3:25:20 PM): "Huh. Well I think what you're wearing's fine. I was just going to hit that cafe in town."
Caiden (3:26:06 PM): "Ah..." Caiden got up after closing the notebook, "Sure..." nodding a little.
Phoenix (3:26:36 PM): Phoenix smiled and turned around, heading out to the front door.
Caiden (3:27:25 PM): He tried not to curse himself, following the guy outside.
Phoenix (3:29:32 PM): Phoenix fiddled with his keys, unlocking his car and hopping in.
Caiden (3:30:29 PM): Caiden looked around the neighborhood as he got in the car.
Phoenix (3:41:50 PM): Starting the car, Phoenix lit a cigarette and pulled out of the driveway, heading down the street.
Caiden (4:15:15 PM): "So what's your last name?"
Phoenix (4:15:53 PM): "James." Phoenix turned a corner, flicking his ashes.
Caiden (4:16:51 PM): "Ah, complex and simple name."
Phoenix (4:19:31 PM): "Yeah. Well I got two of the complex. Middle name's Lestat." Phoenix chuckled.
Caiden (4:22:13 PM): "More complex than simple," Caiden smirked a little. "At least you have a real middle name.
Phoenix (4:24:02 PM): "Opposed to what, a fake name?" Phoenix laughed.
Caiden (4:29:44 PM): "Sieres. It's more like someones last name."
Phoenix (4:32:03 PM): "Sieres." Phoenix pronounced it, drawing it out. "I like it."
Caiden (4:32:52 PM): "Its alright," he hated it. Hated how Chuck used to call him Sier.
Phoenix (4:41:41 PM): Phoenix shrugged a bit. "Better than hearing mine yelled out." He chuckled, stopping outside the cafe.
Caiden (5:00:34 PM): Caiden didn't say anything to that, watching unfamiliar territory go by.
Phoenix (5:03:02 PM): "So you hungry or anything? Or do you just wanna go to the cafe?"
Caiden (5:06:47 PM): "Well... I just ate... but..." when was the last real meal he'd had? "I could do food."
Phoenix (5:16:01 PM): Phoenix nodded. "Food it is. There's a big strip down here."

Caiden (12:07:03 AM): "We can go wherever you want... I'm not really cravin' anythin'..."
Phoenix (12:08:03 AM): "All right." Phoenix found a local meditarreanean place and pulled in the lot, parking and getting out.
Caiden (12:10:37 AM): Getting out, Caiden followed him in.
Phoenix (12:13:51 AM): "Damn that smells good." Phoenix grinned as he asked for a table for two and they were lead towards the back section.
Caiden (12:17:49 AM): Sitting into the booth, the waitress came over and he ordered a bowl of chic pea soup and a water the start.
Phoenix (12:22:34 AM): Phoenix got a salad with the ethnic dressing and an iced tea.
Caiden (12:29:46 AM): Sitting back, he looked around.
Phoenix (12:30:59 AM): Phoenix tapped his fingers on his knee and looked over at Caiden. "So what brought you h ere, to Sydney, I mean.
Caiden (12:33:51 AM): "It's not Brisbane."
Phoenix (12:36:12 AM): "Right." Phoenix nodded. "Sorry." He took a sip of water.
Caiden (12:37:17 AM): He looked at him. "Sorry for...?"
Phoenix (12:41:05 AM): "Being nosy."Phoenix shrugged.
Caiden (12:42:04 AM): "That's not being nosey..." well, only a bit.
Phoenix (12:47:59 AM): "Ah, well it felt like it, so I apologize." He looked up when the food was brought, smiling at the waitress.
Caiden (12:48:45 AM): Ordering baked lamb, Caiden felt a soft hint of happiness. He could eat meals now... like everyone else... and not worry about it.
Phoenix (12:50:09 AM): Phoenix got a sampler dinner, with all his favorites and then dug into his salad when the waitress walked off.
Caiden (12:51:31 AM): "How long have you lived here? Or is t his your first place in Sydney?"
Phoenix (12:54:54 AM): Phoenix looked up a bit, swallowing first before replying. "Oh I grew up in Brisbane and didn't come here till a few months ago."
Caiden (12:56:13 AM): "Oh... so where'v e you been living?" curiously
Phoenix (12:57:52 AM): "You mean before I came here to live in the house? At a friend's."
Caiden (1:05:19 AM): "ah..." a small nod, toying with his gla ss.
Phoenix (1:08:23 AM): "I quite like it here though. Nice new start."
Caiden (1:10:06 AM): "Yeah..." softly, sipping his drink.
Phoenix (1:11:55 AM): Phoenix finished his salad and pushed the empty plate away.
Caiden (1:44:28 AM): "So 'ave you always done tattoos?"
Phoenix (1:46:02 AM): "Nah. That's just a recent development. Used to have a band. Used to go to Uni. Hell, I used to do a lot of things."
Caiden (1:46:50 AM): "I used to 'ave a band too..." smiling faintly.
Phoenix (1:51:08 AM): "Really? Small world, isn't it?"Phoenix chuckled.
Caiden (1:53:33 AM): "Didn't everyone 'ave a band?"
Phoenix (1:59:37 AM): "It seems like it." Phoenix smiled.
Caiden (2:01:18 AM): They set food down and Caiden started to dig in.
Phoenix (2:06:50 AM): Phoenix glanced at him momentarily before starting to eat his own food.
Caiden (2:39:02 AM): Poking it, he sighe d at the taste and smiled a little.
Phoenix (2:49:41 AM): "This place is fastly becoming my favorite."
Caiden (2:50:02 AM): "Is it?"
Phoenix (2:54:32 AM): Phoenix nodded. "I get something different every time and it's all good."
Caiden (3:05:24 AM): "this is good..." a small smile, chewing the side of his lip.
Phoenix (3:12:38 AM): A smile and Phoenix sipped his icea tea.
Caiden (3:13:24 AM): "Don't know what else I'd eat here though..." absentmindedly, looking at the drink menu.
Phoenix (12:07:26 PM): "Well it's always nice to try something new once in a while." Phoenix looked up at him a bit before taking a bite.
Caiden (12:17:30 PM): Caiden observed him a little bit and thought 'not really' but kept it to himself.
Phoenix (12:20:35 PM): He ate happily, then sat back when he was full.
Caiden (12:24:57 PM): Finishing up a little over half of it, he sat back and sighed.
Phoenix (12:31:06 PM): "Damn, I forgot how filling this shite is."
Caiden (12:34:32 PM): Laying his head back, dramatically, he stretched.
Phoenix (12:36:36 PM): Phoenix smirked as the waitress came over with the bill and he asked for two boxes.
Caiden (12:39:04 PM): Pulling out his wallet, Caiden got out some bills.
Phoenix (12:39:53 PM): Phoenix got out his money and laid it on the bill, tossing a few AUD on the table.
Caiden (12:40:58 PM): Getting a cigarette out, too, he lit one and tossed his tip down as he put the rest of his food into a box.
Phoenix (12:44:36 PM): Phoenix stood after giving the waitress the bill and grabbed his box, heading out the front door.
Caiden (12:47:44 PM): Scampering after him, he walked outside.
Phoenix (12:48:41 PM): "I'm not really in the mood to go home. But I'm not sure where to go from here."
Caiden (1:02:53 PM): "For a walk..." and Caiden started to head in the other direction.
Phoenix (1:03:31 PM): "All right, for a walk." Phoenix smiled and followed after him down the street.
Caiden (1:04:03 PM): Putting his arm around his stomach as he always did, Caiden looked around and smiled a little at the sun that was beggining to set.
Phoenix (1:07:48 PM): "I don't think I ever realized how beautiful this place really is,"Phoenix said quietly, hands sliding into his back pockets.
Caiden (1:08:22 PM): "Neither 'ave I."
Phoenix (1:09:38 PM): Phoenix looked to him a bit and smiled lightly, hair falling in his eyes.
Caiden (1:13:18 PM): "Always watched the sunset and rise, though."
Phoenix (1:14:57 PM): "Yeah, that never gets old."
Caiden (1:16:22 PM): A small shrug, r uffling his hair a big so it covered his ears and his eyes a little. Flicking ashes at t he pavement, he put one hand into his pocket.
Phoenix (1:17:30 PM): "Not much of a talker, are you?"
Caiden (1:23:45 PM): "Don't have much to say."
Phoenix (1:24:24 PM): "All right." Phoenix gazed around, not saying anything else.
Caiden (1:31:22 PM): "Sorry..." his cheeks felt a little flushed as they headed towards the boardwalk.
Phoenix (1:34:22 PM): "Not a big deal. I can be quiet." Phoenix chuckled.
Caiden (1:39:07 PM): "You don't have to..."
Phoenix (1:40:57 PM): "Well if we've got nothing to talk about, what can I say?
Caiden (1:42:36 PM): "Anything. I'll talk about anything... I'm just bad at starting it..." truthfully.
Phoenix (1:43:50 PM): A nod and Phoenix shrugged. "Now I have no clue what to talk about,"he laughed.
Caiden (1:44:23 PM): Holding out his cigarette pack to him, Caiden offered.
Phoenix (1:45:49 PM): "Thanks." Phoenix took one and stuck it between his lips.
Caiden (1:47:17 PM): "Welcome..." flicking a lighter for him.
Phoenix (1:50:17 PM): Phoenix leaned over, lighting his cigarette and then taking a long drag.
Caiden (1:53:40 PM): Flicking it shut, he pocketed them and sat down on a bench.
Phoenix (1:54:04 PM): Phoenix blew out some smoke and glanced around.
Caiden (1:59:38 PM): "So.. .you didn't like Brisbane either?"
Phoenix (2:01:39 PM): "Ah, it wasn't about not liking it. I had a lot there, but then I sort of...didn't, and I needed to get away."
Caiden (2:13:56 PM): A small nod, looking at the water.
Phoenix (2:14:41 PM): He leaned against the building behind him and watched cars drive by.
Caiden (2:17:22 PM): "Don't want to sit with me, huh?"
Phoenix (2:23:07 PM): Phoenix looked down at him. "I never said that."
Caiden (2:23:31 PM): "Ah... but you're not..." jokes a little.
Phoenix (2:30:09 PM): "Right." Phoenix winked and slouched down on the bench beside him. "And now I am."
Caiden (3:46:11 PM): Caiden smiled at his faint sense of humor there and glanced at him as he exhaled the smoke.
Phoenix (3:48:05 PM): Puffing on the cigarette, Phoenix blew it out into the air, head leaning back.
Caiden (3:51:55 PM): "So what else do you do? Aside from drawing and inking?"
Phoenix (3:53:12 PM): "I work on music. I've tried taking classes at Uni again."
Caiden (3:53:57 PM): "Tried?"
Phoenix (3:54:48 PM): "It never seems to work out."
Caiden (3:56:59 PM): "too busy?

Caiden (4:02:36 PM): "Good answer for everything.

Phoenix (4:05:38 PM): He shrugged. "I don't use it like that."

Phoenix (4:12:38 PM): Phoenix smirked. "I've had troubles, but I don't use them to get noticed."
Caiden (4:14:03 PM): "what about the kinks, then?" grinning a little.
Phoenix (4:18:42 PM): Phoenix chuckled. "That, my friend, you dont' get to find out."
Caiden (5:47:47 PM): "And why not?"
Phoenix (5:57:45 PM): "Because, it's private."
Caiden (5:59:51 PM): "Works for me."
Phoenix (6:14:11 PM): A nod and Phoenix tossed his cigarette aside, stomping it out.
Caiden (6:18:36 PM): "So are you straight then?"
Phoenix (6:21:02 PM): "Not exactly, no."
Caiden (6:24:38 PM): "Not exactly?"
Phoenix (6:26:42 PM): "I can't consider myself straight if I've dated both."
Caiden (6:30:14 PM): "Then say you're bi, mate. Not exactly straight isn't apreference."
Phoenix (6:31:55 PM): "Thank you, I'll remember that next time someone asks."
Caiden (6:32:20 PM): Caiden laughed a little, a true giddy laugh.
Phoenix (6:36:39 PM): Smirking, Phoenix shook his head a bit. "Should just have it on a tshirt"
Caiden (6:42:26 PM): "Multiple t-shirts. One for every day of the month."
Phoenix (6:43:38 PM): "Right. Then no one will ever get confused."
Caiden (12:36:51 AM): It was a bit late... around 1:00am, but not quite there, when Caiden poked his head in the open door of his flatmates room.
Phoenix (12:40:37 AM): Phoenix was sitting in bed, earbuds in his ears and scribbling furiously in his journal.
Caiden (12:43:49 AM): He decided against bothering him and w ent past the door and towards the front room.
Phoenix (12:48:09 AM): Once he had written until his hand was cramped, he tossed the journal aside and tore out the earbuds.
Caiden (12:51:21 AM): Sitting down on the comfortable sofa, he toyed with his repierced lipring.
Phoenix (12:54:14 AM): Coming out of the room, Phoenix went to the kitchen and got a beer.
Caiden (12:56:20 AM): It was really the first time he had to spend on the last few days... to think about them and what he'd been doing.
Phoenix (12:59:42 AM): Swigging back a long sip, he closed his eyes as he leaned against the wall and banged his head.
Caiden (1:00:36 AM): Caiden ehard this and jumped a bit. "Don't hurt yourself," seriously.
Phoenix (1:05:30 AM): "Oh I won't. I don't feel anything."
Caiden (1:05:55 AM): He got up and went into the kitchen. "Right."
Phoenix (1:09:17 AM): Phoenix looked at him and almost said what was on the tip of his tongue, but bit it back.
Caiden (1:12:48 AM): "Don't want to call up the hospital,"
Phoenix (1:14:36 AM): "Don't worry. If I knock myself out just leave me here."
Caiden (1:17:23 AM): "I couldn't."
Phoenix (1:22:05 AM): "And why not?
Caiden (1:22:59 AM): "Because I'm not a monster. People don't pass out because they're okay."
Phoenix (1:25:24 AM): Phoenix rolled his eyes. "Well i give you permission to."
Caiden (1:27:29 AM): "I don't want permission..." leaning over their dining room table for his messenger bag.
Phoenix (1:31:19 AM): Phoenix sighed and ran a hand through his hair.
Caiden (1:35:20 AM): Huffing, he was practically on the table and trying to get at his bag.
Phoenix (1:36:33 AM): Phoenix reached over, plucked it up, and handed it to him.
Caiden (1:37:25 AM): "Thanks," taking it and sliding off.
Phoenix (1:38:14 AM): "No problem..."He eyed him a bit.
Caiden (1:38:54 AM): "I probably should of thought that one through."
Phoenix (1:41:44 AM): "It's all right." His gaze went down, then up again.
Caiden (1:43:48 AM): Caiden tilted his head and then blushed a bit.
Phoenix (1:52:27 AM): Phoenix pursed his lips. "Can I ask something of you? Something small.'
Caiden (1:52:56 AM): "Yeah?"
Phoenix (1:57:59 AM): He stepped forward a bit. "Can I kiss you?"
Caiden (1:58:59 AM): Putting his bag around him, he looked at him curiously. "You don't have to ask."
Phoenix (2:02:21 AM): At that, Phoenix chuckled. "Pardon me for being polite then..."And he stepped up against him, capturing the smaller man's lips in a kiss.
Caiden (2:03:16 AM): Caiden didn't touch him, keeping his hands at the strap of his bag and pressing back. He couldn't help parting his lips a little... because Phoenix's lips were soft... and warm.
Phoenix (2:05:52 AM): His eyes stayed open as he kissed back, enjoying the new feeling,and then just as quickly, he pulled back.
Caiden (2:06:13 AM): He stood there and opened his eyes, looking at him.
Phoenix (2:09:21 AM): Phoenix licked his lips, smirking slightly and stepped back.
Caiden (2:11:02 AM): "That all you wanted?"
Phoenix (2:12:23 AM): "Mmm nope. But that's all I'll ask for."
Caiden (2:13:12 AM): "I told you that you didn't 'ave to ask," casually.
Phoenix (2:14:21 AM): "Well for me, I do."

Phoenix (12:42:54 AM): "Good. Or else I'd have felt like an idiot saying that."
Caiden (1:30:03 AM): "I need breakfast," he was starting to feel a little sick.
Phoenix (1:30:49 AM): "Mm, all right. And what would you like?
Caiden (1:32:10 AM): "Mm... doesn't matter," starting to sit up.
Phoenix (1:32:48 AM): A little nod and Phoenix pecked his head, getting on some clothes and making his way out of the room.
Caiden (1:33:59 AM): Caiden followed him in his PJ pants, stepping into the kitchen lazily.
Phoenix (1:34:44 AM): He went about making an omelette and hashbrowns, humming to himself.
Caiden (1:36:15 AM): He got out the orange juice and poured a glass, then another, and sipped his.
Phoenix (1:41:09 AM): Making an omelette f or Caiden, he put some hashbrowns on the side with toast and set it in front of him.
Caiden (1:45:10 AM): "Thanks..." smiling at him and poking the food.
Phoenix (1:46:24 AM): "No problem."He made up his own plate and sat down, digging in.
Caiden (1:47:42 AM): Caiden looked at him, eatin ghis food quietly.
Phoenix (1:49:05 AM): He bit into a piece of toast, giving Phoenix a little grin.
Caiden (1:51:21 AM): He had a sleepy, happy, look about him as he ate.
Phoenix (1:52:06 AM): Sipping his coffee, he glanced over at Caiden. "Good?"
Caiden (1:52:30 AM): "Uh huh," straw in his mouth while he drank his orange juice.
Phoenix (1:53:04 AM): Smiling at that, Phoenix ate some of the omelette.
Phoenix signed off at 2:04:11 AM.

Caiden (3:50:24 PM): Caiden glanced out the small window next to the table and smiled to himself, fork hanging in his hand.
Phoenix (3:53:23 PM): "Better watch it or my wonderful little pup's gonna come snatch that off your fork."
Caiden (4:04:56 PM): He glanced at him and set the fork down for a moment, sipping his juice again.
Phoenix (4:09:23 PM): "You okay? You keep zoning out?'
Caiden (4:12:36 PM): "I was just looking outside..." offering a tiny smile.
Phoenix (4:14:22 PM): "Oh...well then ignore me." He laughed and went back to eating.
Caiden (4:15:09 PM): "It's alright...." shrugging a little and eating his food agin.
Phoenix (4:17:40 PM): His puppy came bounding in the room, going in circles around his legs and barking.
Caiden (4:24:44 PM): "Sounds like 'e wants out."
Phoenix (4:32:45 PM): "All right, Spaz, let's get you outside." He yipped and tugged at Phoenix's slipper.
Caiden (4:34:15 PM): He got up and cleaned his plate... and then the dishes... and wiped down his spot on the table.
Phoenix (4:43:23 PM): Watching the pup run around the backyard, he leaned against the doorframe.
Caiden (4:44:40 PM): He even cleaned around Phoenix's plate and tossed the towel into the sink, sighing.
Phoenix (4:46:53 PM): Phoenix glanced over his shoulder. "So what are your feelings on surfing?"
Caiden (4:47:23 PM): "I'd love to if I owned a board."
Phoenix (4:49:18 PM): "Well how about I loan you one and you come out and ride some waves with me."
Caiden (4:50:33 PM): "I could do that," grinning a little. "I 'aven't gone in at least a year.
Phoenix (4:57:18 PM): "Then it should be fun for the both of us." he winked.
Caiden (5:06:46 PM): "do you want to go now? We can get lunch after..."
Phoenix (5:09:09 PM): "That sounds perfect. I think I'll let Spaz here run on the beach."
Caiden (5:09:48 PM): "Is his name really Spaz or do you just like calling him that?" smirking.
Phoenix (5:14:58 PM): "No, his name is really Zero."He nodded with a grin. "But it fit. So it's his nickname."
Caiden (5:29:11 PM): "i like the name..." Caidne smiled at him and bit his cheek a little.
Phoenix (5:30:02 PM): "Yeah, from my favorite kiddie movie." He grinned as the puppy came racing back in.
Caiden (5:38:19 PM): "You know... I guessed that..." smiling a little. "I'mm meet you in the fton room..." he wasn't dressed. Neither of themw ere.
Phoenix (5:45:03 PM): "All righty." Phoenix flashed him a grin and then headed up to his room to get dressed.
Caiden (5:46:06 PM): He grabbed a pair of boarding shorts and a thin tank top, toeing on some sandals and ruffling his hair.
Phoenix (5:47:11 PM): Tugging on shorts, he came back out of the room and down the stairs. He was barefoot and had glasses on, the puppy following him.
Caiden (5:52:05 PM): Flopping down the stairs, he stepped next to him. "Alright..."
Phoenix (5:59:19 PM): Phoenix glanced over at him. "All right what?"
Caiden (6:03:36 PM): "I'm ready!"
Phoenix (6:04:11 PM): He laughed. "I can see that."
Caiden (6:04:55 PM): He felt a little giddy, but just grinned.
Phoenix (6:09:14 PM): Heading outside, he made his way to the garage and pulled out the two boards he had stowed in there.
Caiden (6:10:12 PM): "Why do you have two anyways?" They were both really nice boards, too.
Phoenix (6:16:48 PM): "Took it back from my ex after we broke up." He smirked.
Caiden (6:18:50 PM): "Ooo... good one... So which one can I use?"
Phoenix (6:23:15 PM): "Either." He held out both.
Caiden (6:23:40 PM): "which ones yours?"
Phoenix (6:25:38 PM): "Both, technically." He chuckled.
Caiden (6:26:14 PM): "That’s not a real answer."

Caiden (2:22:18 AM): Caiden knocked a little, stepping inside.
Phoenix (2:26:11 AM): Phoenix's eyes blinked open a bit, staring up blearily. "Yeah?"
Caiden (2:26:57 AM): "You're still here," shutting the door.
Phoenix (2:28:36 AM): He smiled a bit. "I was waiting."
Caiden (2:29:36 AM): "You werefalling asleep," Caiden corrected him, smiling though.
Phoenix (2:33:03 AM): "Mm maybe that too."
Caiden (2:53:48 AM): He stepped into the room more, the smell of the shower following him to the end of the bed.
Phoenix (2:54:49 AM): Phoenix pulled back the covers, beckoning him into bed.
Caiden (2:55:58 AM): He got in under the covers, smiling to himself in the dark.

Phoenix (7:25:20 PM): Tossing the covers more over Caiden, he pecked his forehead and laid back again.
Caiden (7:27:41 PM): The small gesture was just that. Small. But it was immense in it's meaning, his heart fluttering a littl.e
Phoenix (7:29:20 PM): "G'night, Caiden,"he whispered, eyes fluttering closed, an arm lightly around Caiden's shoulder.

Phoenix (7:37:49 PM): Phoenix drifted off easily and a smile lit his face.
Caiden (7:40:44 PM): Caiden's heart beat hard as he laid there... from excitment, maybe. He wasn't sure. Smiling to himself, he took a deep breath and started in on trying to sleep.
Phoenix (7:43:47 PM): He slept more sound than he had in months, curled up against Caiden's body, practically cradling him
Caiden (7:47:41 PM): He slept with all of his limbs dangling just a little over the bed, ankles together and wrists too.
Phoenix (7:50:54 PM): Waking up, he saw Caiden lying there and without a thought, he nudged his lips to his shoulder.
Caiden (7:55:01 PM): Caidens stirred, only faintly, and curled back onto the bed, his legs sliding down a bit
Phoenix (7:57:56 PM): A smile came to his face again and he rested his chin on Caiden's shoulder.
Caiden (8:04:07 PM): A loud yawn left his lips, legs against Phoenix's.
Phoenix (8:12:40 PM): He closed his eyes again, just laying there with him, arm around him.
Caiden (8:24:11 PM): He didn't say morning to him... still sleepy enough to lay there for a good hour befor ehe moved.
Phoenix (8:35:23 PM): Phoenix moved back when he did and scratched his head a bit. "Hey there."
Caiden (8:36:19 PM): "Morning," softly.

Caiden (9:24:32 PM): It was 1am and the lights were on in the house. Dragging along behind him was someone he hadn't expected to see... someone from his past. Fiddling his keys, he felt a drunken kiss being planted on his neck.

Phoenix (9:29:14 PM): Phoenix was in the house, watching a horror flick and had his legs curled up to his chest.

Caiden (9:30:18 PM): Caiden scowled a little at the door and grumbled, shoving it open finalluy.

Phoenix (9:39:51 PM): He perked up a bit when he heard the door open, Zero running around in circles barking.

Caiden (9:40:49 PM): "Shh... Zero..." leading him inside and shutting the door with the twist of the lock.

Phoenix (9:44:37 PM): Phoenix noticed this and didn't even speak as he stood up, whistling for the dog and with a look of almost disgust on his face, he made his way out the back door.

Caiden (9:45:39 PM): Caiden heard someone move, ignoring it for now to bring Chuck up the stairs.
Phoenix (12:04:26 AM): Sitting down on one of the chairs out there, he let Zero run off to go to the bathroom.
Caiden (12:05:03 AM): The house was dark and he flicked on his light before bringing Chuck, much heavier than him, to the bed.
Phoenix (12:17:24 AM): If Caiden wanted to bring blokes home, fine, but he'd have liked some kind of warning maybe, so he could leave and let them have privacy. He didn't fancy trying to sleep hearing banging headboards.
Caiden (12:24:34 AM): Chuck talked with him... mostly incoherent and drunken sorries. When he closed his eyes, though, Caiden felt shaken. He was nervous and confused... his eyes moist. He thought Caiden was this stupid... Slipping out of the room and shutting the door, he tiptoed down the stairs/
Phoenix (12:25:18 AM): Zero came bounding back up to him and he pet his head before leading him back inside and over to the small table to get his keys.
Caiden (12:28:08 AM): He came out into the living room to find him. "Hey..."
Phoenix (12:29:07 AM): Phoenix glanced over at him, clutching his keys in his hand. "Hi."
Caiden (12:29:42 AM): "It's late... are you heading out?"
Phoenix (12:31:28 AM): "Well I didn't quite want to be around and be in the middle of anything."
Caiden (12:35:06 AM): "In the middle? I was just going to ask if you minded me... um... sharing the bed with you tonight?"
Phoenix (12:45:09 AM): His brows furrowed and he was confused. "But you brought a bloke home..."
Caiden (12:50:39 AM): "I'm just giving him a place for the night."
Phoenix (12:51:42 AM): "Oh." So now he felt completely dumb and his cheeks tinged red.
Caiden (1:08:27 AM): "Is that a yes?"
Phoenix (1:11:52 AM): "Sure." He nodded a little.
Caiden (1:15:39 AM): "Unless you're leaving..."
Phoenix (1:15:57 AM): "No...I'm not."He set down the keys and came back over.
Caiden (1:18:06 AM): A little smile touched his lips, standing there in his boxers.
Phoenix (1:19:19 AM): He kicked off his shoes again and led Caiden up to his bedroom.
Caiden (1:21:27 AM): He followed along behind him and stayed close, happier than he'd been all day.
Phoenix (1:23:31 AM): Getting into the room, he dressed down for bed and laid down.
Caiden (1:28:21 AM): He smiled because Phoenix hadn't asked anything, coming over to the bed and getting in.
Phoenix (1:32:46 AM): Pulling the covers up over them, Phoenix turned off the light next to the bed.
Caiden (1:37:38 AM): He curled up close to him and smiled. "Thanks."
Phoenix (1:40:49 AM): "You're welcome." Phoenix let his one arm dangle over his side and closed his eyes.
Caiden (1:41:25 AM): "Did you 'ave a good night?"
Phoenix (1:42:38 AM): "I guess so. It was a tad boring."
Caiden (1:43:05 AM): "I'm sorry... I was going to be back earlier... to entertain you," lauging a little.
Phoenix (1:45:12 AM): Phoenix snorted. "I watched horror films.'
Caiden (1:45:50 AM): "Anything good?"
Phoenix (1:47:27 AM): "Not really."Heshrugged lightly.
Caiden (1:50:50 AM): "I'm sorry..." slowly curling up to his side.
Phoenix (1:53:37 AM): "It's all right. I laughed through most of them. And Zero kept me company."
Caiden (1:56:09 AM): Caiden smiled a little and closed his eyes.
Phoenix (1:56:27 AM): Phoenix stroked through his hair and down over his shoulder.

Phoenix (2:01:12 AM): Phoenix drifted off slowly, holding Caiden cloe.

Caiden (2:04:41 AM): He stayed awake for a little while longer... worrying.
Phoenix (2:06:16 AM): When his breathing shallowed out, he had his arms wrapped tight around Caiden's waist.
Caiden (2:09:20 AM): He brought his fingers down and touched over Phoenix's wrist, smiling.
Phoenix (2:09:41 AM): Phoenix made a sleepy noise, fingers curling into his palms.
Caiden (2:13:52 AM): A small smile touched his lips, closing his eyes and praying Chuck stayed passed out.
Phoenix (2:16:43 AM): He rested his head against Caiden's and smiled in his sleep.
Caiden (2:17:17 AM): He tried not to feel too overwhelmed and giddy, grinning though.
Phoenix (2:19:10 AM): It was hours before he awakened and the first thing he did was kiss Caiden's jaw.
Caiden (2:22:48 AM): Caiden was snug up against him, smiling and snoring just faintly.
Phoenix (2:23:26 AM): He watched him admiringly for a moment.
Caiden (2:25:01 AM): He thought, beforehe'd fallen asleep, that he was grateful about Chuck... it gave him an excuse to sleep in Phoenix's bed.
Phoenix (2:29:37 AM): Kissing his temple, Phoenix trailed his hands up and down Caiden's back

Caiden (5:14:56 PM): "Mmm..." stretching out just a little bit.
Phoenix (5:15:44 PM): He smiled at that and tapped the end of Caiden's nose playfully.

Phoenix (5:56:49 PM): Phoenix nudged his nose to Caiden's with a smirk.
Caiden (6:31:23 PM): He breathed out a little through his nose and sighed.
Phoenix (6:34:20 PM): "Good morning,"he whispered, kissing the side of Caiden's neck.
Caiden (6:36:00 PM): "Morning," his voice soft.
Phoenix (6:40:15 PM): He leaned his head there for a moment, then pulled back.

Caiden (7:40:58 PM): Caiden scooted over and enveloped his arms around him.
Phoenix (7:41:58 PM): At that, Phoenix smiled from ear to ear and nuzzled his lips against Caiden's cheek
Caiden (7:42:43 PM): "I need breakfast..." curling legs over Phoenix's a bit like he wasn't sure if he was aloud to play around like this. "But it'll 'ave to wait."
Phoenix (7:47:44 PM): He chuckled a little, tickling at Caiden's sides and nipping at his shoulder.
Caiden (7:50:36 PM): A giggle and he tried to wiggle down more.
Phoenix (7:51:18 PM): "Oh no you don't!" Phoenix pulled him up against him, attacking his face with kisses and rolling around in the bed.
Caiden (7:51:56 PM): He almost slipped off the bed, his heart jumping and grabbing onto Phoenix with a happy squeak.
Phoenix (7:54:56 PM): His grin was wide and insanely happy, just having this moment to share and he pecked a soft kiss on Caiden's lips.
Caiden (7:59:26 PM): "You could of killed me!" his voice obvious playfully dramatic.
Phoenix (8:00:33 PM): "Ah no, I'd never let you fall." He winked.
Caiden (8:01:31 PM): "Promise?"
Phoenix (8:03:45 PM): Phoenix stared down at him, letting his eyes meet Caiden's. "I promise."
Caiden (8:06:07 PM): A little grin. "I believe you."
Phoenix (8:10:41 PM): He kissed him deeper this time and ran his hands down to cup his ass.
Caiden (8:16:16 PM): Caiden heard a creak in the hallway and ignored it. The door was shut anyways.
Phoenix (8:18:46 PM): When he pulled back, he stroked a hand down Caiden's cheek.
Caiden (8:19:02 PM): "Caiden?" The voice sounded confused and sleepy.
Phoenix (8:24:29 PM): Phoenix rose a brow. "Your friend?"
Caiden (8:28:12 PM): He sighed and nodded a little, sliding off the bed and slipping out of the room with an apologetic smile.
Phoenix (8:34:33 PM): Laying back on the bed, Phoenix put his arms behind his head
Caiden (12:06:12 AM): He asked, loudly, where he was and why. They talked outside the door. Chuck said something about Caiden coming back with him.
Phoenix (12:13:03 AM): At that, Phoenix quirked a brow, wondering what in the hell was going on that he didn't know about.
Caiden (12:13:44 AM): "No. And since you're sober now, you can find your way out."
Phoenix (12:20:29 AM): He pursed his lips at that, hoping there wouldn't be some kind of a fight
Caiden (12:21:27 AM): The sound of something being dragged started... and it was Caiden's feet across the wood floor. He pulled his arm back with an angry look. "GET OUT!"
Phoenix (12:24:57 AM): Phoenix stood now, waiting.
Caiden (12:25:35 AM): More noises, nothign too obvious as to what it was, and then a thud on the wall near the end of the hall.
Phoenix (12:29:23 AM): He strode over to the door, swung it open and stepped out into the hall.
Caiden (12:30:35 AM): His cheeks were red and he screamed again for him to get out. "I'm sorry I fucking helped you! I should of let you drown in your own vomit you ungrateful PRICK!" picking himself off the floor where he'd fallen near the wall. "GET. OUT!"
Phoenix (12:32:22 AM): Phoenix's brows rose into his hairline and he looked from Caiden to the unnamed guy.
Caiden (12:35:58 AM): Chuck looked equally pissed off and seemed to catch sight of someone behind them. Caiden noticed, but didn't turn around. "Go ahead. Try it," hissing out. But Chuck actually turned and let himself out.
Phoenix (12:41:13 AM): Phoenix didn't know what to do or say, so he remained silent, watching the guy walk out..
Caiden (12:41:37 AM): He sat down on the bottom step after angrily locking the door.
Phoenix (12:48:46 AM): Swallowing a little, Phoenix made his way back into his room.
Caiden (12:53:37 AM): "I know you're there..." quietly.
Phoenix (12:57:16 AM): "Yeah...well, it's none of my business."
Caiden (1:01:59 AM): He was turned away from Phoenix, rubbing his eyes.
Phoenix (1:02:54 AM): Phoenix stopped in his doorway. "If it's any consolation...if he'd hurt you in front o f me I'd have kicked his ass."

Phoenix (1:05:02 AM): He came over to him a little, touching his shoulder. "You gonna be okay?"

Phoenix (1:10:49 AM): He nodded a little. "I'm gonna make breakfast."
Caiden (1:12:41 AM): "Don't you want to know?"
Phoenix (1:15:55 AM): "It's not my business,"he repeated again, heading into the kitchen.
Caiden (1:19:09 AM): It bothered him a little, going up to his room to strip off the bedding
Phoenix (1:23:00 AM): He went into the bedroom and started quietly making breakfast, lips pressed together.
Caiden (1:24:06 AM): Dragging them through the kitchen, he went down the stairs.
Phoenix (1:26:13 AM): Phoenix frowned at that but kept his mouth shut.
Caiden (1:30:42 AM): Shoving them in, he covered them in detergent and put fabric softened in the thing. Shutting the top with a loud clank, he walked back up the stairs and went to wash off the scratchs down his arm
Phoenix (1:35:29 AM): Phoenix flipped some bacon and then sat at the counter, waiting as stuff cooked.
Caiden (1:37:42 AM): He patted it with a paper towel and came over to the side of the kitchen Phoenix was on.
Phoenix (1:42:23 AM): "Hey..."
Caiden (1:46:35 AM): "Do you have any gauze?"
Phoenix (1:47:33 AM): "Er...yeah, medicine cabinet."
Caiden (1:48:08 AM): "Thanks..." he smiled a little and went to try to wrap it himself.
Phoenix (1:49:03 AM): Phoenix swung his legs and waited there as he divvyed out food on two plates."
Caiden (1:50:26 AM): He came back with it half wrapped. "Can you tighten this?" quietly.
Phoenix (1:57:00 AM): A little nod and he gently took Caiden's arm, fixing up the gauze
Caiden (2:02:33 AM): He waited, patiently, sitting at the table.
Phoenix (2:03:06 AM): "There we go." He patted Caiden's arm and slid a plate to him
Caiden (2:03:58 AM): "Thanks..." for both of the things. Picking up a fork, he poked around.
Phoenix (2:05:03 AM): "You're welcome. "He sat down and dug into his food
Caiden (2:06:03 AM): He was silent for awhile.
Phoenix (2:11:44 AM): Phoenix sipped at some juice, feeling a tad uncomfortable

Phoenix (2:44:04 AM): He glanced at him. "If you want to tell me, then you will. But it's your past and your life. I can't make you tell me, Caiden. Especially if it's painful."
Caiden (2:44:43 AM): He sipped coffee and looked at him. "If I told you, you might hate me."
Phoenix (2:45:29 AM): He pressed his lips together. "I guess that's up to you if it's a chance you're willing to take."
Caiden (2:46:16 AM): "He's my ex."
Phoenix (2:47:19 AM): "Well I kinda figured that much out."
Caiden (2:48:57 AM): "He um... I don't know... I shouldn't..." swallowing a little.

Caiden (2:50:05 AM): A sigh and he set the coffee down. "I lived with 'im and a load of friends. We 'ad a band. Then after awhile, he wasn't so nice anymore."
Phoenix (2:55:05 AM): A little nod and Phoenix sipped his coffee. "He didn't come off as nice right then."
Caiden (2:56:19 AM): "He used to be... a long time ago. But he made me leave... Well, I chose to leave one night after a show... after 'e slammed me around backstage."

Phoenix (10:39:41 PM): Licking over his lips, he sat back a bit in his seat and listened intently.

Caiden (10:44:57 PM): He gathered his plate and went to pour more coffee before washing it.
Phoenix (10:46:36 PM): Phoenix popped the last piece of bacon into his mouth and savored it before Zero zipped into the room and started nudging against Caiden's legs.

Phoenix (11:05:18 PM): Zero yipped a little and stood up on his hind legs, pressing his front paws against Caiden's legs.

Caiden (11:22:45 PM): "Yeah, maybe." Getting up and stretching.
Phoenix (11:23:47 PM): Zero came over to Phoenix and curled up at his feet, nipping at the hem of his pajama pants.
Caiden (11:24:35 PM): He resumed messing with his coffee.
Phoenix (11:25:50 PM): "Would you stop that? My pants are not your chew toy"
Caiden (11:26:16 PM): He watched him... and bit his lip. He hadn't even gotten to the point of his story.
Phoenix (11:29:48 PM): "So...go on."
Caiden (11:30:00 PM): "About?"
Phoenix (11:30:33 PM): "You were talking to me about something I wouldn't want to hear."
Caiden (11:31:24 PM): "Oh... that was it."
Phoenix (11:36:10 PM): "Ah...well all right then."
Caiden (11:37:08 PM): He chewed his lip, changing from resting more on one foot to the other.
Phoenix (11:39:51 PM): "You know you can talk to me, about whatever."
Caiden (11:45:55 PM): "Its too early," he didn't specify.
Phoenix (11:48:28 PM): A nod and Phoenix stood, going to the sink and dumping his dishes in, then whistled for Zero and went outside with him.
Caiden (11:49:18 PM): He rubbed his forehead a little and closed his eyes. "Have to tell him sometime..." quietly.
Phoenix (11:50:07 PM): Sitting down on the bench there Phoenix wondered how it was too early to talk to him a bout personal things but it wasn't too early to fuck and cuddle and wake up in bed together.
Caiden (11:51:46 PM): He rinsed hus mug and went towards Phoenix's room, curling up in his sheets.
Phoenix (11:53:26 PM): Once Zero was done, Phoenix led him back inside and then headed to his room to get dressed and saw Caiden laying there.
Caiden (11:55:02 PM): His eyes closed, he had the pillow tucked under his head.
Phoenix (11:56:09 PM): "So is my bed more comfortable, or what?"
Caiden (11:56:22 PM): "It's pretty comfortable."
Phoenix (11:58:07 PM): He nodded a bit and went to sit on the edge.
Caiden (11:59:16 PM): Caiden looked at him as he sat down, fist tucked under his chin.
Phoenix (12:00:17 AM): "You confiscating my bed now?"
Caiden (12:03:32 AM): "No..." quietly.
Phoenix (12:04:16 AM): "Okay, well I wouldn't mind it if you did." He laid down now next to him but on his side.
Caiden (12:04:48 AM): He scooted to give him room... which was insane, because Caiden was tiny.
Phoenix (12:06:46 AM): Quirking a brow, Phoenix glanced at him. "Don't wanna be close to me that badly?"
Caiden (12:07:20 AM): "Just giving you some room to lay down," honestly, not really thinking about the space he barely takes up/
Phoenix (12:19:43 AM): A little nod and he just s hrugged, putting his arms behind his head.
Caiden (12:32:55 AM): "I didn't know I was cliche."
Phoenix (12:33:51 AM): "Cliche? How so?"
Caiden (12:35:02 AM): "Seems everyones a whore."
Phoenix (12:36:21 AM): Phoenix rose a brow. "You're a whore?"
Caiden (12:36:55 AM): He tried hard not to cringe. "In Adelaide."
Phoenix (12:40:21 AM): "Oh..." He nodded a little, staring up at the ceiling.
Caiden (12:41:55 AM): Sitting up a little. "I'm sorry I said anything."
Phoenix (12:44:15 AM): Phoenix looked over to him. "why? Do you think I'll judge you?"
Caiden (12:45:24 AM): "Either that or tell me you've whored yourself out to."
Phoenix (12:47:06 AM): He snorted. "No, I'm afraid I haven't."
Caiden (12:48:18 AM): "I wouldn't hold it against you."
Phoenix (12:48:44 AM): "Well I'm not judging you."
Caiden (12:48:59 AM): "I'll take your word for it."
Phoenix (12:57:02 AM): "I've learned not to judge since I haven't exactly been a saint in my life."

Caiden (12:55:46 AM): Caiden itched his elbow a little, "It doesn't bother you that I slept with over a hundred blokes in a year?"
Phoenix (12:59:12 AM): "Why should it bother me? It was your life before I even knew you. And it's not like we were dating and you did it behind my back. The only reason it'd ever bother me was if I got something."
Caiden (1:00:17 AM): "I could 'ave something... I could... I don't know..."
Phoenix (1:01:22 AM): "Well then, I owe you a punch if you have something and I got it."
Caiden (1:02:17 AM): Caiden fidgeted a little. "I was careful... I just... I'm paranoid... and I'm scared of this."
Phoenix (1:03:52 AM): He nodded a bit, then his brows furrowed. "Scared of what?"
Caiden (1:10:01 AM): "Having to do that again."
Phoenix (1:18:17 AM): "Why would you have to?"
Caiden (1:19:38 AM): "People don't always stay good."
Phoenix (1:20:54 AM): "Hmm sometimes it's all about willpower."

Caiden (12:40:44 AM): It almost bugged him that Phoenix was so... accepting. He shouldn't be.
Phoenix (12:42:33 AM): He shrugged. "I've dealt with enough b ad people in my life, Caiden."
Caiden (12:42:47 AM): "I might be enough plus one."
Phoenix (12:45:59 AM): "You know what, stop being a fucking coward and just cut things off right here instead of trying to make me dislike you."
Caiden (12:46:33 AM): "I'm not trying to make you dislike me," he was on his feet now and switching from left to right.
Phoenix (12:48:50 AM): "Mm. Sure as hell seems like it."
Caiden (1:00:37 AM): A sigh. "Just doesn't seem like the bloke snagging sort of job."
Phoenix (1:03:14 AM): Phoenix quirked a brow. "That's an understatement"
Caiden (1:03:44 AM): "Oh, what? Because selling yourself cheap is appealing?"
Phoenix (1:11:41 AM): He shook his head. "No, I was agreeing with you, Caiden."
Caiden (1:14:35 AM): "Then you agree with me that you shoudn't bother with me?" his voice was faintly sarcastic. That was what he'd meant.
Phoenix (1:15:35 AM): He gritted his teeth. "If that's what you want so badly, then fine. I won't fight with you. I don't even know you that well. So I'll cut my losses."
Caiden (1:16:12 AM): "I was just saying... that most guys don't find used toys appealing."
Phoenix (1:22:06 AM): Shaking his head a bit, Phoenix let out a sigh. "That's just it. I don't see you that way."
Caiden (1:23:51 AM): "I see me that way..." his voice almost indecisive.
Phoenix (1:24:48 AM): "Then that's your problem with yourself."
Caiden (1:30:41 AM): "You're calm." quietly.
Phoenix (1:31:01 AM): "Why shouldnt I be?"
Caiden (1:31:53 AM): "I guess you should be."
Phoenix (1:32:42 AM): He sat up in bed, staring a t Caiden. "It's not my c hoice on whether or not you think we should try something. It's yours. Walk out right now and it doesn't have t o go any further.'
Caiden (1:33:26 AM): "If I would of told you after we were... if we were together... would you still act the same?"
Phoenix (1:36:11 AM): "It wouldn't have changed anything unless you'd still been doing it behind my back."
Caiden (1:37:18 AM): "I only did it because of him."
Phoenix (1:38:16 AM): A little nod. "well then my opinion wouldn't change."
Caiden (1:38:51 AM): He backed against the wall ad winced when he smacked his elbow.
Phoenix (1:39:33 AM): "Ya know, you should watch where you're going."
Caiden (1:40:20 AM): "Yeah, thanks..." rubbing it.
Phoenix (1:41:11 AM): A tiny smirk. "Oh c'mon...don't be all anal now."
Caiden (1:41:26 AM): "I think that was my funny bone."
Phoenix (1:42:21 AM): He pressed his lips together. "Except not so funny."
Caiden (1:42:52 AM): Caiden stretched his arm out and let it crack, sighing.
Phoenix (1:44:07 AM): "Feel good?"

Caiden (2:06:50 AM): He sat down into Phoenix's lap as he did.
Phoenix (2:07:51 AM): A little smile and he slung an arm around Caiden's waist. "All better."

Caiden (1:31:30 AM): Caiden put his hands up on Phoenix's shoulders, sitting there on his lap... on his bed... and smiling.
Phoenix (1:35:36 AM): A smirk lit his face and he let his fingers graze softly over Caiden's lower back.
Caiden (12:58:06 AM): Lowering his cheek down, he put it on his shoulder
Phoenix (1:00:45 AM): Phoenix sighed and wrapped his arms around Caiden's waist.
Caiden (1:17:02 AM): He felt a little like a kid, wrapping his arms low on Phoenix's waist... feeling close to him.
Phoenix (1:21:01 AM): Kissing the side of Caiden's head, he took in the scent of his hair.
Caiden (1:25:50 AM): "Mmm..." he adjusted his legs on either side of him, just enjoying the rare moment.

Caiden (2:17:13 AM): Caiden kept his head laid against Phoenix's shoulder and, when he pressed back, it was almost shaky.
Phoenix (2:22:42 AM): Phoenix pulled away. "you're scared."
Caiden (2:25:21 AM): His eyes flickered up a little, nodding just a little.

Caiden (2:28:51 AM): "You don't look scared," his voice quiet and his eyes going up.

Caiden (2:33:49 AM): Caiden touched the side of Phoenix's neck and nodded. "He did that to me to."
Phoenix (2:39:47 AM): "So then we're both fragile."
Caiden (2:45:28 AM): "I think that's a good word..." quietly.
Phoenix (2:51:26 AM): A tiny nod and he nudged his cheek against Caiden's arm.
Caiden (2:53:18 AM): Caiden kissed the side of his neck, not so shaky like before.
Phoenix (2:59:16 AM): A shiver went through him and he ran his hands down Caiden's sides.
Caiden (3:04:26 AM): He brought lips to lips again, parting his own faintly.
Phoenix (3:05:58 AM): Sighing, Phoenix kissed back gently.
Caiden (9:00:38 PM): Pulling away just a little, he teased his lips against Phoenix's and coaxed him closer.
Phoenix (9:02:10 PM): Phoenix leaned up more and kissed back harder, licking over Caiden's lip.

Caiden (1:30:39 AM): Adjusting himself on Phoenix, he hovered above him the best he could and kissed him back.
Phoenix (12:47:56 AM): Falling back onto the bed, Phoenix brought Caiden with him.
Caiden (12:49:39 AM): His hands went down and balanced on his sides, stroking down them a little.
Phoenix (12:56:37 AM): Phoenix grinned, nipping at Caiden's lip.
Caiden (1:30:59 AM): He kept his eyes open, looking down at him and parting his lips.

Phoenix (1:40:52 AM): He grinned, touching a finger over Caiden's lips.

Phoenix (1:48:22 AM): "Mm quite entrancing, aren't they?"
Caiden (1:50:23 AM): "You're not supposed to say that about yourself..." laughing a little.
Phoenix (1:54:09 AM): "But I like my eyes.” He chuckled.
Caiden (1:54:34 AM): "They're not bad."
Phoenix (1:59:53 AM): "Oh you know they're gorgeous, don't lie.” He smirked.
Caiden (2:03:12 AM): Caiden nodded, hooking his arms around his neck.
Phoenix (2:10:17 AM): Phoenix laughed lightly and kissed up Caiden's arms.
Caiden (2:26:05 AM): "I've never seen eyes like yours."
Phoenix (2:30:02 AM): "That's because they're one of a kind. Okay...not really. My mum has the same color eyes."
Caiden (2:30:31 AM): He laughed a little. "Well, I've never met your mum."
Phoenix (2:35:55 AM): "Mm no you have not. But she'd love you."
Caiden (2:36:20 AM): "you think so?"
Phoenix (2:41:57 AM): "I know so."
Caiden (2:42:38 AM): Caiden looked at him. "I wish you could meet my parents... wish they were the kind to meet boyfriends and all."
Phoenix (2:46:49 AM): He rose a brow. "Boyfriends?"
Caiden (2:47:37 AM): He flinced internally, looking at him and opening hismouth a little.
Phoenix (2:50:30 AM): "Do you think of me as that?"
Caiden (2:51:51 AM): "That just came out... I'm sorry... I didn't mean to say that..." stupidly.
Phoenix (2:54:06 AM): "Is it something you want?"
Caiden (2:54:33 AM): And there it was... that question. "Who doesn't want to be with someone?"
Phoenix (3:04:17 AM): Phoenix smiled. "Do you want to be with me?"
Caiden (3:06:24 AM): "Are you really asking me this?" quietly.

Caiden (3:14:56 AM): He looked at him. "I don't want to say no..." quietly.

Caiden (3:19:52 AM): "He threw me around a lot, Phoenix. He was my only boyfriend and he hit me all the time... he kept me in our room in the house... I'd sit there and I'd wait for him some nights and he wouldn't come. I... I don't know how I can ever forget that and start something without it in my mind..." looking at him.
Phoenix (3:23:40 AM): A nod and Phoenix looked away for a moment. "Then it's nothing but a careless fling. And that's not something I want."
