Adrion wakes up with amnesia and, somehow, convinces himself he’s always been in love with the resident watching over him. Kendall plays along.

Adrion (2:38:01 AM): Adrion was almost 25 when he had the second sugery of his life. They warnedhim around the effects, but it had to be done. And when he woke up, he was surrounded by his doctor and a few of the residents.
Kendall (2:39:21 AM): Kendall stood off to the side, listening to the doctor go on about the younger man's symptoms and he wrote down everything.
Adrion (2:40:13 AM): It was obvious right off that he was confused. He didn't remember the doctor's name, though they'd been dealing with one another for months now. "W-Who are you? What happened?"
Kendall (2:44:28 AM): "I'm your doctor, Adrion. You just had surgery onyour brain. You pulled through just fine."
Adrion (2:45:04 AM): And at the words, he took a fleeting glance around the room... across the faces... and he pushed himself up the bed alittle.
Kendall (2:49:27 AM): Kendall watched him with fascination and chewed at his lip, wondering how he was gonna react.
Adrion (2:57:52 AM): "Go away!" hes voice was timid... too many people...
Kendall (3:01:22 AM): "All right, everyone clear out of the room. It's okay, Mr. Greene.
Adrion (3:17:14 AM): He fidgeted a lot and closed his eyes, murmuring.
